‘Clinical Hypnotherapy’, which is sometimes referred to as ‘Suggestion Therapy’ is the use of very positive suggestions and affirmations when under the relaxed and focused state of hypnosis.
These suggestions are taken on at a subconscious level, meaning they will have an amazing effect on your behaviour and feelings once you are out of the hypnotic state.
What can it help with?
We use mostly IMR (Ideo Motor Response) Therapies to help treat conditions, although other techniques are at hand should IMR not suit your needs, included in this list are:
- Weight Loss
- Exam nerves
- Driving test nerves
- Fear of Flying
- Nerves about public speaking
- Dental phobia
- Nail Biting

How effective is it?
Suggestion therapy is extremely powerful and an ideal treatment for many people due to the ability to help you achieve a short-term goal FAST.
However since the effects of suggestion therapy usually last a few weeks to a few months, we would not recommend it for more complex problems or issues that you want to fully resolve. Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you wish to discuss your needs.

How long does it take?
Suggestion Therapy usually takes one, two or three sessions, each lasting approximately an hour long.
